Apple and HTC asked to settle down issues on August 28th

Apple has many lawsuits against it, and it has initiated a lot of other lawsuits on other companies functioning in the same field. For example, the rivalry between Apple and Samsung is well known and it is for sure going into the history books of technology and telecommunication. In the same way, Apple also has rivalry to some extent with HTC, even though this extent does not reach that of the Samsung case. Apple has sued these two companies in different countries for different purposes on different patents.

The Cupertino tech giant has already been ordered to settle its issues with the South Korean based tech giant Samsung on two days in the presence of a third party who is not involved in the case, this will be a judge. These two days will the the 21st and the 22nd of the month May. In the same way, the company has been ordered to settle its issues with the Taiwanese company HTC.

The case, in the case you do not know, Apple has sued HTC on its two new smart phones, the HTC One X and the HTC Evo 4G LTE on the way the phone numbers are mapped to the dialer app on the phone. Apple says that the algorithm used is the same as the one found on Apple’s iPhone. For this reason, the ITC has stopped the import of the two smart phones being imported in to the United States shores. HTC would have been very furious.

Pocket Now writes:

The Delaware court ordered the two companies to meet up in Delaware on August 28, 2012 in order to discuss the possibility of a settlement. Just as in the Samsung case, there will be a third (non-involved) party mediating and overseeing the process and in the HTC case it will be Magistrate Judge Sherry R. Fallon.

We have to see how this will go on.
