In the ongoing saga of the patent wars between Samsung and Apple the two companies have agreed to a settlement conference. We’re not sure how much agreement there really was, being that presiding Judge Lucy Koh ordered the two companies to have a settlement conference within 90 days.
The two companies will hold a settlement conference which include both companies CEOs as well as their general counsel. Magistrate Judge Joseph Spero will mediate the conference.
Apple and Samsung continually throw injunctions back and forth at each other. Judge Koh denied Apple’s request to halt the sales of four Samsung products in the U.S. The four devices were the Samsung Galaxy S 4G, Infuse 4G, Droid Charge and Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1.
Injunctions have also been tossed back and forth throughout the rest of the world as well, like in Germany and other parts of the European Union.
In an unrelated suit involving Apple and Motorola, Apple is currently sitting through an injunction of their push notifications in their MobileMe product in Germany.
