We have all been in anticipation waiting for HTC’s One series devices to hit US shores, and after AT&T announced their One X, T-Mobile was quick to bring us a date and price for the One S as well. Today in NYC T-Mobile announced that the One S would be hitting their carrier with 4G for the price of $199 with a 2-year contract. T-Mobile is also boasting this as their thinnest smartphone yet, which again brings us to the fantastic hardware of this device.
The HTC One S is equipped with a dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, and 8MP camera, and is one of the best phones to hit T-Mobile yet. On the software side of things, the One S is the first Android 4.0 device on T-Mobile as well, coming with Sense 4 slapped on top of the fantastic ICS version of Android we all know and love. With this comes HTC’s ImageSense camera software that engages users with a great camera UI and multiple filters and effect as well.
This device will, again, be landing in T-Mobile stores for $199 on April 25, and it will also bring you 25GB of DropBox storage. This is a fantastic price and inclusion of space for $199, and anyone looking for a new high-end device should definitely visit their local T-Mobile April 25.
