Sprint Issues Call To Journalists For HTC/Sprint Collaboration Event April 4th Next Evo Getting Closer

Sprint has invited the mobile media, including thedroidguy, to a press event being held on April 4th. Sprint’s CEO Dan Hesse alongside HTCs President, Jason Mackenzie are slated to speak.

Regardless of whether the next Sprint/HTC phone is a version of the One X, or an entirely different device, with Spring in full bloom now, it’s definitely time for an HTC Evo re-up. In the late Spring of 2010 we saw the original HTC Evo 4G, in the Spring/Summer 2011 we saw the HTC Evo 3D and now Sprint will dazzle us with something, that will most likely be better than the original Evo was at launch.

Google has Android 4.0, HTC has Sense 4.0 with Beats Audio, and Image Sense, and Sprint has a 4G/LTE network rolling out. The possibilities are endless.

This does give a little more credence to the June 10th date that was leaked by website S4GRU over the weekend.

So there you have it just another couple of weeks, and we’ll know. Sprint does through some of the nicest events, expect a live blog and recap here on thedroidguy.
