When Google released Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, they were shooting for a version of Android that would be optimized for both Android phones and Android tablets. When Samsung released the Galaxy Note they announced it was both phone and tablet. So naturally, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, is the perfect version of Android for the Samsung Galaxy Note.
Samsung has said they were updating the Galaxy Note in the coming months. The device has been out about 4 months around the world and a few weeks here in the United States. While there’s been no official word, rumors have been surfacing that Samsung may look to doing a half upgrade via their “value pack” software giving only portions of Android 4.0 to Galaxy Note customers.
More after the break
There’s no substantial evidence that the Galaxy Note will get anything but the full version of Android 4.0, however something very interesting has turned up. Our friends at Slash Gear have pointed out that at the end of the Angry Birds Space trailer it says “Galactic Upgrade With Premium Suite Coming Soon”. Earlier in the video Rovio says that the Game is launching on the Galaxy Note.
The question now is, what is “Premium Suite”.
