Next Update To Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, Just Around The Corner

We know, we know there are hundreds of millions of you out there waiting for the first version of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich to hit your phone. We hope to see it soon. However for those who are on the Samsung Galaxy Nexus or some of the other phones with Ice Cream Sandwich, it looks like the next update is just around the corner.

Android 4.0.5 is reportedly coming next month. Twitter user Mobile Panda tweeted on Tuesday that he is already using android 4.0.5 presumably on his Galaxy Nexus on Verizon. With a test batch out there we could see it soon.

We’re hearing from and several other sites that this 4.0.5 update will come in early April, which at this point in time is less than two weeks away. Although nothing has been officially stated about the CDMA or the GSM version of the Galaxy Nexus, phonearena is reporting that they heard via a french website that the GSM Galaxy Nexus is expecting the same update.

If you’re looking for Android 4.0.5 keep your fingers crossed, perhaps we’ll see it in two weeks
