LG & MetroPCS Re-Upping Optimus M To Optimus M+

The original LG Optimus M on MetroPCS was by no stretch a bad phone. It was a  solid mid-range phone on a cost conscious prepaid network.

It appears that LG and MetroPCS are re-upping the Optimus S from top to bottom. The newer version will be called the LG Optimus M+.

According to Pocketnow the new version of the Optimus M will feature a 3.5″ display with 256,000 colors where the original had a 3.2″ display with 64,000 colors. The camera moves from 3.2 megapixels to 5.0 megapixels.

The’ve also upgraded the BlueTooth. The M+ with Android 2.3 Gingerbread should be available soon at MetroPCS stores.
