Developer Tools: Millennial Media’s Self Serve mMedia Tool Goes Live At MWC

Millennial Media, the independent leader in mobile advertising, took some time at Mobile World Congress to announce that their mMedia self serve tools have gone from beta to full release.

mMedia allows developers and advertisers to reach over 200 million global mobile users with Millennial Media’s advertising platform.  Millennial’s new mMedia campaigns are easy and quick to set up and give advertisers tools to take control of their bids, creative, targeting and more.

These tools allow regular recurring campaigns and advertisers who use the same message across multiple advertisers the opportunity to reach developers with inventory available quicker. In turn the developers can get more ad fills quicker.

More after the break

“mMedia extends our mobile ad platform to developers and advertisers who are looking for a complete self-service solution,” said Chris Brandenburg, Co-Founder and CTO, Millennial Media. “Whether their goals are to monetize an app or to promote a business, the technology behind mMedia helps our developer and advertiser partners unlock the power of mobile and drive results that will scale their businesses.”

mMedia also offers advertisers the ability to get hyper local in their reach. Setting up a geo-fence or virtual fence for where their advertising is seen on mobile devices. Features like this are great for big metropolitan areas where a business even a mile outside of the radius is viewed as too far away.

Developers can now access mMedia through the same portal they currently use to monetize their mobile applications and sites. With the addition of self-service advertising, developers have the ability to easily put money earned from monetizing their applications with Millennial Media toward their own mobile advertising efforts, to improve app discovery and increase downloads.
