In addition to the data devices, tablets, top tier Android phones and Windows phones that ZTE has released at Mobile World Congress this week, the company has also released this smaller, more affordable Android handset dubbed the ZTE Mimosa Mini.
It looks like the Mimosa Mini is more in the neighborhood of the HTC Wildfire S, and we could see it come to ZTE’s prepaid carrier partners in the United States.
For starters the Mimosa Mini will come with Android 2.3 Gingerbread. The screen size is a mere 2.8 inches and QVGA at 320×240. In the camera department, the rear is only 3.2 megapixels and there is no front facing camera.
It’s running a dismal 256mb of RAM and has just 200mb of internal storage. ZTE has said they will update it to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich in the not so distant future.
