Amazon is reporting their Q4 earnings tomorrow. All eyes are on the e-commerce giant as we see how the Amazon Kindle Fire fared.
Historically Amazon hasn’t divulged device sales numbers. That may mean we will have to rely on analyst estimates.
Jordan Rohan an analyst with the firm Stifel Nicholas just upped his outlook for Amazon and their Kindle Fire sales. Rohan originally had Kindle Fire sales estimated at 5 million.
In a report released today Rohan said:
“Tablets including iPad and Kindle Fire are rapidly taking share from PCs and notebooks. Kindle Fire has staked out an important market position due to its loyal Amazon customer base and attractive (low) device pricing. We believe the lower hardware price will correlate with high e-book and video content attach rates.”
If Amazon does in fact, announce Kindle Fire sales tomorrow as expected and they do come in at or around 6 million that will be the best selling single Android tablet released to date.
