Pocketnow is reporting today that the Samsung Galaxy Note is headed to AT&T with 4G/LTE in tow. The Galaxy Note was announced at IFA in Berlin Germany in September. It’s a new category of device bridging the smartphone and the tablet.
The 1.5ghz dual core device with a 5.3″ screen and “S Pen” support has already been spotted clearing the FCC offices in Columbia Maryland.
Pocketnow is suggesting that Samsung will bring the Galaxy Note stateside early in 2012. They’re also reporting that for the U.S. version they are exchanging the Samsung Exynos processor for a Qualcomm SnapDragon processor. This is probably because of the 4G LTE stack.
We should see the Galaxy Note at CES with an official carrier announcement to follow. AT&T debuted 4 devices at their Developer Conference the day before CES began last year. They also outlined their two part “4G” strategy which is in full swing now.
