HTC Desire HD, HTC Incredible S and HTC Wildfire S See Updates But No ICS

Although most people are waiting for their phones to get the nod to update to Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich, HTC has released updates to the HTC Incredible S, HTC Wildfire S and HTC Desire HD.

No, these updates don’t include Ice Cream  Sandwich goodness, they do bring some significant changes to each of the three handsets. The Desire HD and the Incredible S both updated to Android 2.3.5 (Gingerbread), and HTC Sense 3.0.

While the 2.3.5 update from the previous version of Android, only provides some bug fixes and tweaks the Sense 3.0 upgrade is significant to those who love HTC’s Sense user interface.

The Wildfire S, which has become a widespread favorite on America’s prepaid carriers, received an update to Android 2.3.5 and it’s version of HTC Sense has been updated to Android 2.1

Yeah, something is not quite right with this post. I’ve had my Wildfire S for a a while now, its running Android 2.3.3 and HTC Sense 2.1, never had any updates, and still nothing available, and its unlocked. So I guess this story is complete bullsh*t.
