GSM Samsung Nexus S Getting Ice Cream Sandwich Now

Google announced on Friday that they’ve started rolling out the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich to Samsung Nexus S users with the GSM/UMTS version. There was no mention of the WiMax/Sprint version the “Nexus S 4G”.

They are sending the official update in waves over the next month. The GSM version of the Nexus S is available through Best Buy stores for the T-Mobile network.  Google let people know about the update via the official @googlenexus twitter account.

Now that the Verizon Wireless Galaxy Nexus has been released we’re confident we’re going to see a lot more Ice Cream Sandwich news over the coming weeks.
