Last years iPhone 4 brought to the world the first “micro sim” card. This new type of sim made it difficult for customers who have more than one GSM phone and switch between devices, to be able to do that. You would have to cut your SIM card which could prove to be deadly, at least to your account.
As Android Community points out, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 also uses a micro-SIM card however the Stratosphere is the first Android Smartphone to use a Verizon Wireless 4G/LTE microSIM. This could go to prove that carriers are making the switch overall to the new sized SIM card.
