Samsung And Sprint Giving Away 1500 Nexus S 4G’s At Dev Conference

Sprint and Samsung may have foiled a nice Oprah moment by way of a press release this morning announcing that Samsung and Sprint are giving away 1500 Nexus S 4G’s and one month of Sprint service to the first 1500 registered attendees of the Sprint Open Solutions Conference in November.

This is great news for developer’s, especially those who were looking to utilize NFC in future apps.  Passionate individual developers have a hard time keeping up with the latest Android technology because it changes so often. Now, developer’s who may not have otherwise had the opportunity to get a piece of NFC equipped Android hardware, can look forward to developing away on a Samsung Nexus S 4G.

Samsung made waves at Google I/O this year giving away millions of dollars in devices to the 5,000+ attendees.  Google I/O attendees walked away with a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, Samsung 4G/LTE mi-fi, and a Samsung Chromebook.

Sprint’s Open Solutions Conference takes place November 2-4 in Santa Clara, CA.  Sprint CEO Dan Hesse will be keynoting.
