Quick Video Review: Samsung Epic 4G Touch (Samsung Galaxy S II)

The Samsung Galaxy S II variant for Sprint will be released this Friday at Sprint stores everywhere under the name “Epic 4G Touch”.  This  beautiful piece of Android beauty.

The 4.5 inch superAMOLED display is surrounded by rich plastics and a beautifully flat surface making the total size of the device 5.1 inches by 2.7 inches which is actually smaller than the Samsung Infuse 4G on AT&T. It’s the thinnest smart phone available coming in at just .38 inches thick. It weighs in at just 4.5 ounces which is about half an ounce lighter than the Infuse 4G.

But we’re not here to just talk about appearance.  The Samsung Epic 4G Touch features Samsung’s 1.2 ghz dual core Exonys processor to make sure things run smooothly.

More after the break

The rear camera is an 8 mega pixel beast with an LED flash. There is also a front facing camera for video chat over G-Talk with Video, Qik, Fring or your favorite video chatting program.

The Samsung Epic 4G Touch’s 4.5 inch screen is superAMOLED plus and it’s bright and crisp ans has amazing viewing angles.

So far the TouchWiz enhancements including the scrolling homescreen controller make it a breeze to navigate through your favorite apps and screens and get to the information you need the quickest.  The Samsung Galaxy S II features HDMI through USB (MHL etc) and it also supports mirroring as well.
