Not sure the motivation LG has for just releasing this beast of a phone to it’s home country of Korea but it seems that’s just what they are doing with the new LG LU6200. LG has put up a teaser page up announcing a Korean release of September 25th for this super duper phone.
So what are the specs of this new LG LU6200, first off it starts with a 4.5 inch AH-IPS display with a 720p resolution. It’s got a 1.5ghz Scorpion dual core processor under the hood. That’s of course alongside a 220 GPU. Round that out with a gig of ram and 4gb internal storage for a truly solid device. Add to that an 8mp rear facing camera with AF. The front facer is 1.3mp and the battery is a whopping 1,830mah.
More after the break
As for browsing and surfing speeds? The LG LU6200 supports U+LTE and has theoretic download speeds of 75mbps.
It also bravely goes where no phone has gone before and receives digital tv and radio broadcasts over the air. It also supports NFC as well and all this with Android 2.3, Gingerbread.
LG has announced no plans to release this phone anywhere but Korea. Perhaps they are copying one out of the Samsung Galaxy S II playbook though and they’re trying to make the world hungry for the next big Android device.
