HTC Evo Design 4G Press Shot Shows Up

I swear Evan over at Pocketnow must be the guy who designs press shots for OEM’s because if it’s a press shot leak it’s coming from Pocketnow and today is no different.

Pocketnow has obtained a press shot of Sprint’s forthcoming Evo Design 4G.  The Evo Design 4G was first rumored with the codename “HTC Kingdom” and it’s apparently the same device headed to US Cellular as the HTC Hero S. Even on Sprint it would seem that the name Hero S would work as well because the HTC Hero, HTC’s first Android device on Sprint, was never officially followed up.

It’s hard to believe that the specs for the HTC  Evo Design 4G today are actually considered mid-range. They include:
1.2ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor
768mb of RAM
4inch qHD display
5 megapixel rear facing camera
1.3 megapixel front facing camera
Android 2.3.3

The HTC Evo Design 4G looks to be a solid mid-range device for those customers looking for an Android phone on Sprint’s 4G network without forking over too much dough.
