Last month we started hearing rumors about a Sensation-style device headed to T-Mobile, dubbed as the HTC Amaze 4G. The Amaze 4G has the same uni-body design the Sensation had, and is packed with compatibility for HSPA+ data speeds. The device has a 4.3 inch screen, with a dual-core processor clocked to 1.5 ghz. While this device is similar to the Sensation, it is supposedly replace the myTouch 4G, without any myTouch skins or branding. And while the device won’t have myTouch specific skins, it will have HTC Sense. However, this device will be rocking HTC Sense 3.5 on top of Android 2.3. The screen will be qHD, which coupled with the 4.3 inch size will be perfect for viewing all different types of media, including the pictures you’ll be taking with the 8.0 megapixel camera.
The press shots above are from CellphoneSignal, who is also reporting the device is slated for release in the coming weeks, possibly on October 26. These images are said to be official press release shots, but we won’t know for sure until we see it coming directly from HTC or T-Mobile.
