Cricket Shoots & Scores With ZTE

We knew that ZTE would show up with an Android device in the United States this year, and now they have.  ZTE and Cricket have announced the ZTE Score, an Android device on Cricket Wireless.

On Thursday we mentioned the new ZTE Score in a piece related to Best Buy selling Cricket products and services. Now we’re here to give you the dirt or shall we say the score on the Score.  The ZTE Score is a mid range Android device running on a single core 600mhz processor. It runs the latest version of Android for phones, Android 3.1 Gingerbread.  The Score also features a 3.2 mega pixe read facing camera, XT9 Trace for easy input and Cricket’s unlimited music service called Muve.

“ZTE is pleased to work with Cricket to provide its customers with new devices that provide the best of today’s technology at an accessible price point,” said Lixin Cheng, CEO, ZTE USA and President, North America Region, ZTE. “The ZTE Score, powered by Android and an ideal platform for Muve Music, is a prime example of a feature-rich, affordable smartphone that will help consumers enhance their mobile lifestyle.”

The ZTE Score will be available starting September 25th at Best Buy stores for $129.99.
