As we prepare for probably the best end of the year finish in modern cell phone history, it seems that Verizon and Amazon may be trying to blow out the HTC Thunderbolt. We’ve already heard several times that a new HTC device, the HTC Vigor is lined up to take the place of Verizon’s first 4G/LTE Android device so the fire sale is on, at least at Amazon.
The HTC Thunderbolt is still a very solid, strong device and it truly harnesses the power of Verizon’s 4G LTE network.
More after the break
Besides the obvious 4G/LTE radio the HTC Thunderbolt packs a single core 1ghz Qualcomm SnapDragon processor, with 768mb of RAM. It has an 8 mega pixel rear facing camera and a 1.3ghz front facing camera for video chat over Verizon’s 4G/LTE network. The HTC Thunderbolt also has a 4.3″ TFT display at 400×800 pixels. The Thunderbolt ships with a 1400mah battery but there are plenty of after market batteries with a lot more juice. It has 8gb of on board memory and of course has a microSD slot.
At $.01 the HTC Thunderbolt is a steal. Go ahead get one today
