More Surfaces On The Motorola Droid Bionic Including Inductive Charging Door

Phonedog, and the FCC have given us new information in the form of pictures of the highly anticipated Droid Bionic.  The Droid Bionic was introduced alongside the LG Revolution, Samsung Droid Charge and HTC Thunderbolt at CES this past January.  Now 8 months later we are getting closer to a release.

On Motorola Mobility’s recent Q2 earnings call, Motorola Mobility’s CEO Sanjay Jha, revealed that the Droid Bionic would be in stores in September.  The Droid Bionic is going to be the first Android powered dual core phone to hit the Verizon Wireless 4G/LTE network.  Including to many sources the upcoming iPhone 5 will still only be a 3G phone.

More after the break

The FCC has outed the user guide for the upcoming Droid Bionic which confirms a 4.3 inch 540×960 qhd display.  The user guide also mentions that the Droid Bionic is a “world phone”.

The user guide also mentions the key features of the Droid Bionic:

4G/LTE connectivity
1ghz dual core processor
Netflix
4.3″ qhd touchscreen
1080p hd video

As the FCC documentation shows, the Droid Bionic features an inductive battery charging door, not sure if this is a secondary accessory or if they are shipping it with the Droid Bionic.

  1. It’s possible that the garage door opener – the box like mechanism situated near the ceiling which is responsible for opening and closing the door itself – is not plugged in. This can be because someone simply forgot to plug it in, or because it has slipped out of a loose socket. An AC cord usually exits the machine and plugs into an outlet on the ceiling, or perhaps to an extension cord that runs to a wall outlet. Check to see if this is plugged in and you may have the solution to why your door won’t open or close right there.
