Best Buy Does Complete 180 On TouchPad Fire Sale Starts Immediately

Maybe BestBuy came to the realization, as other big box stores did, that it would be more expensive, require more man power and cost a bunch of money to send back 250,000 HP TouchPads. Couple that with the fact that it may take HP a while to refund Best Buys Money.  Best Buy has now done a complete 180 on the HP TouchPad issue and has announced that they are participating in the fire sale.

At this late hour most Best Buy physical locations are closed less a few that stay open until 10pm pacific time and the Union Square Best Buy in New York that is open 24 hours. That means you’ll have to wait in line tomorrow morning at Best Buy to pick up your iconic piece of HP history. It will have a rightful place next to my Jornada (that’s old school huh).

Best Buy has limited the sale to one sku per customer meaning you can get 1 16gb and 1 32gb TouchPad per person.  If you want one we highly suggest you arrive before opening at your local Best Buy store.
