Best Buy Buyers Guide Magazine Highlights The Motorola Droid Bionic

We know without a doubt that Motorola and Verizon are teaming up for the Motorola Droid Bionic. It was originally announced alongside the HTC Thunderbolt, Samsung Droid Charge and the LG Revolution at CES back in January (yes 8 months ago).  More recently, Motorola Mobility CEO, Sanjay Jha, pegged down a September release.  We are anxiously awaiting these last few days of August to end so that we can get on with our Droid Bionic love fest.

To add to the leaks, rumors, images, FCC outings and more, today Droid-Life got a copy of the next installment of Best Buy Mobile’s Buyer’s Guide which highlights the Motorola Droid Bionic next to the same three phones it was announced with back at CES.  This Droid Bionic is a lot different than the what we saw at CES though.

More after the break

We’re expecting the first dual core Android device on Verizon’s 4G/LTE network, making fast even faster.

A price comparison chart within the magazine shows that the Droid Bionic has a 4.3 inch qHD display, dual core processor, 8 mega pixel camera on the rear, VGA camera on the front, 1gb of RAM and a 4G LTE radio. For the entire chart visit Droid-Life here.

The only thing the magazine doesn’t say is the availability date and the price. However $299 has been floating around as the on-contract price with $587 being the rumored off contract price. Of course at Best Buy you don’t need to worry about a mail in rebate for the on-contract price.  Only time will tell but we have it on good authority that the day should be September 8th.
