Oh Canada! Rogers Getting Invaded By 3D Androids

It seems that the good folks at Rogers up in Canada couldn’t decide which of the two 3D superphones currently available, should end up on their network. After all it’s a tough decision between the HTC Evo 3D and the LG Optimus 3D.  To make it easier on them, they pawned the decision off on the customer and announced they would be carrying both the HTC Evo 3D and the LG Optimus 3D.  I can totally understand though, if you’ve ever been to Canada, with a lot of their landscape it would be an awesome place to shoot in 3D.

According to Rogers via Unwired, both devices will be  available this summer. The HTC Evo 3D will come with Android 2.3, Gingerbread and of course the LG Optimus 3D will come with Android 2.2 Froyo with an upgrade reportedly due in October.  Rogers goes on to let customers know that existing customers can pre-order now using Rogers Reservation system while new customers will have a way to preorder starting next week.
