AT&T LG and Jane’s Addiction are teaming up for one heck of a launch event tonight in New York’s Hell’s Kitchen. Jane’s Addiction will be performing live for an intimate group of 100 at Terminal 5 in Hell’s Kitchen. The twist is, these 100 lucky Jane’s addiction fans will be given the new LG Thrill and will record the entire concert from 100 people’s perspectives for the “World’s First 3D User Generated Concert”.
LG and the producers of the concert will then take all of the footage and edit it together for a one hour 3d Jane’s addiction documentary that will be available on the LG Thrill YouTube channel on August 4th (youtube.com/comealive)
“It’s a night of firsts. For LG, Jane’s Addiction, YouTube and the technology industry as a whole, the world’s first 3D user-generated concert is an entertainment breakthrough, opening the door to mobile 3D possibilities,” said Tim O’Brien, vice president of marketing for LG Mobile. “A revolutionary 360-degree stage coupled with Jane’s Addiction’s eclectic performance style will create the ideal setting for a one-of-a-kind concert experience.”
