HTC Set To Appeal ITC Apple Ruling

What’s made everyone jump on this story is the fact that the two patents HTC is accused of violating are actually Android features and not HTC features.  Many analysts feel that this is by no means the end of the world for Android of course the SEO intense blog sites will say what it takes to get the hits up right?

Because HTC is in Taiwan and several hours ahead of us in the US they hadn’t had a chance to review the full ruling when they made the following statement:

“We are highly confident we have a strong case for the ITC appeals process and are fully prepared to defend ourselves using all means possible,”

Apple began suing HTC and others this past March and is currently seeking an injunction and ban on imported devices from both HTC and Samsung while this patent mess is sorted out.
