Despite Being Dumped By Several Verizon Wireless Stores, Flextronics Gets Human Resources Award



Earlier this year Verizon Wireless announced that it was dumping Flextronics as the provider of their inhouse device repair and troubleshooting division.  If you weren’t aware, the folks that sit behind the “tech bench” at Verizon Wireless Corporate Stores were actually Flextronics employees.  Verizon has been cutting Flextronics out of numerous stores in the past year to make more square footage available for sales employees.

At the 9th Annual American Business Awards Gala held at the Marriot Marquis in New York City, 200 executives from across the country chose Flextronics Americas HR as the recipient of the Stevie Award for Human Resources Department of the Year Award.
