Intuit Announces New Android Application

Intuit, Inc, which is a subsidiary of Intuit Financial Services, has announced a new mobile banking application to help users make managing their finances easier using an Android device.

According to Inuit, Android users will be able to easily view their account balances, transaction history, transfer funds, and pay bills all from this new application. Another added bonus is the ability to locate bank branches and ATMs using the device’s internal GPS.

CeCe Morken, president of Intuit Financial Services, said of the new application, “People are increasingly reaching for a mobile device when they need financial information. If financial institutions are going to remain relevant in the future, they will have to offer insights and services when and where customers need them.”

Intuit is also in the process of working on applications for Apple devices including the iPad and the iPhone. The company has said that the new application works on all carriers.
