WSJ Releases App For Android Phones

The Wall Street Journal is one of the top most read newspapers there is and has been around for well over hundred and twenty years. Back in November the WSJ released their application for tablet users and since then those of us that have not transitioned to tablets as of yet have been left out in the cold. At least in till today that is.

This application from the Wall Street Journal takes things up a notch from the website that we have come to know and love. This application provides the latest news, views, analysis, and real time quotes all straight to your Android device. The WSJ application also has the ability to let users save news to read later, along with a multimedia section that gives users the ability to browse through photos, podcasts, and videos all via their Android device.

The application itself is free, however users will need the mobile subscription on top of their online subscription to be able to fully enjoy this application. While the extra fees may not sound that appeasing it is still worth checking out. The reviews have been both good and bad most complaints having to do with the extra fee associated with the application. But why not go check it  out for yourself and make the final call?

You can head to the Android Market here to check this application out for yourself and don’t forget to let us know what you think in the comments.
