Porn App Store Follows Amazon Appstore On To AT&T Android Devices

As many of you have already heard AT&T has finally loosened up their grip when it comes to the side loading of applications on certain Android devices and this includes the Amazon Appstore now being available to AT&T users.

Along with the addition of the Amazon Appstore being available to certain AT&T subscribers, you can also add in the infamous Seattle based adult application MiKandi, which was made famous by none other than Mr. Steve Jobs. Jobs made it a point to ridicule the fact that there was a porn store for Android devices. MiKandi co-founder, Jesse Adams, has already confirmed via email that the new ability for AT&T Android users to have the ability to just check a box will give users the ability not to only access the Amazon Appstore but also MiKandi.

The MiKandi team celebrated this new change on their blog and also included a special graphic. MiKandi also noted on their blog that this news alleviates one of their main concerns arising from the whole merger between AT&T and T-Mobile USA. Many customers and developers alike have shared concerns over whether this acquisition between the two companies will affect access to and distribution of third party apps.

AT&T started enabling third party application stores starting with the Infuse 4G. Existing devices that will be updated with this capability include the HTC Inspire 4G, Samsung Captivate, HTC Aria and the LG Thunder.
