Yesterday, we caught wind regarding two upcoming Android devices that are headed to Verizon in the coming weeks. Well, today we have some even bigger news about another Android device making its appearance tomorrow.
The Samsung Droid Charge that was due for release a while back is finally making its appearance tonight at midnight, both online and in stores. Yes we already know what you are thinking, choices just got more difficult if you are planning on picking up an Android device this month, but hey having the choice between three is better than having no choice at all.
The Droid Charge is designed by none other than Samsung and will sport a 4.3″ Super AMOLED Plus display, along with 1 GHz processor, HTML 5 web browser, dual cameras (8mp in back, 1.3 in front), and will work on Verizon’s 4G LTE network. The Droid Charge also comes with Android 2.2 and support for Google services like Gmail, YouTube, Google Talk and more. Another added feature comes from Samsung who designed this wonderful device and included their Media Hub which will offer a grand amount of movies and TV shows to rent or purchase and view on your device.
Verizon will be selling the Droid Charge for $299.99, with a new two year contract as usual and customers who plan on picking up this device will need to subscribe to a Talk and 4G LTE data plan. Some plans start as low as $40.00 a month for talk and unlimited 4G LTE data plans start at $30 a month. Another added bonus is Verizon’s Mobile Hotspot feature will be included at no additional price for a limited time.
