T-Mobile Sidekick 4G Rooted Already

Days after the release of the brand spanking new Sidekick 4G, it has been rooted thanks to those over at XDA-Developers.

Due to their experiences with other Samsung devices, it did not take those over at XDA long to root the Sidekick 4g. After using some simple commands in ADB, they had the Sidekick successfully rooted.

This is good for all you new Sidekick owners, it wont be long before you can root it easily and flash a custom ROM on the device.

  1. Root does not mean custom roms will be available. I know nothing about the bootloader within the device, but if it’s locked, encrypted, etc… it will be a bit longer for custom roms. Root allows apps that require root to work, that’s all.
