Sprint’s Nexus S 4G Passes FCC

Well, it looks like we have some more Nexus S 4G goodness for those that are waiting to scoop up this newest device headed to Sprint. The Samsung Nexus S 4G, that we have been patiently waiting for on Sprint’s network, has officially passed the FCC.

Sprint’s version of the Samsung Nexus S has finally made its appearance on the FCC.  The Nexus S 4G, supports CDMA/EvDO 850 and 1900 bands, WiMAX 4G, Bluetooth, WiFi and NFC. Besides support for WiMAX and CDMA/EvDO, Sprint’s Nexus S 4G is identical to the original, which landed on T-Mobile last December with a 4-inch screen, 1GHz Samsung Hummingbird processor, front and rear cameras, and 16GB of internal memory.

We still have yet to hear an official release date regarding the Samsung Nexus S 4G, however we are supposed to be seeing this device sometime this spring according to Sprint. However, if you want to get the ordering part out of the way, you can pre-order the Nexus S 4G through Sprint’s website now.
