Motorola Beta Testing Durable Tablet

Engadget has received an outline of Motorola’s next step in the tablet market. According to this document the tablet will be very durable and be able to with stand possible accidents it may encounter.

According to this outline this tablet will be able to with stand dust, 4′ drop, splashing water, and extreme temperatures. Which sounds pretty good and reminds us of Motorola’s Defy which was also built to with stand similar exposure.

Also according to this document this new tablet will feature the following:

  • 7″ Capacitive Display
  • 1GHz Dual-Core TI OMAP processor
  • 1GB Ram
  • 8GB NAND Storage
  • Android OS 2.3
  • 8MP Rear Camera
  • 1.3MP Front Camera
  • High End Bar Code Decoding
  • Signature Capture
  • 5 1/2 Hours Of Video Streaming

Right now this durable Android tablet is in beta testing, but we look forward to hearing more about it, including who will be the lucky carrier to launch the device.
