A Rumor has been running around regarding Sprint and their mail-in rebate program. Starting March 27th Sprint will be supposedly ending their mail-in rebates. These rebates will be replaced by instant savings and may expand to all corporate-owned stores. Right now we are not positive that this is happening or whether it will be permanent or not. If this rumor regarding Sprint is true that can make for some hassle free discounts with out having to fill out a paper and mail your rebate form in, not to mention the usual 4-6 week wait for the rebate to show up in your mail box.

From the sounds of it Sprint has confirmed that they will be ending mail in rebates on March 27th. Phone Scoop received an email regarding the mail in rebates and we have the info for you below.
Spokesperson Stephanie Vinge wrote, “Sprint has temporarily replaced mail-in rebates with instant savings in participating Sprint stores and on Sprint.com. The change [will begin on] March 27 and will continue for an unspecified time.”
So it is good to know that Sprint customers no longer need to deal with the hassle of mail in rebates, at least not for awhile. Let us know what you think about Sprint getting rid of the mail in rebates.
