Motorola Atrix Headed To Bell For $170 On 3 Year Contract

The Motorola Atrix is headed to Canadian carrier Bell on March 17th.  The Atrix introduced last month on AT&T Wireless, was the must have phone at CES 2011.

The Motorola Atrix when combined with the Lapdock (over $800) or the HDMI kit can turn into a home theater machine, desktop or laptop. The price for the phone itself on Bell will be $170 with a minimum $50/mo data plan and there is no word on which accessories will be available and what the pricing will be.

Motorola Mobility chief Sanjay Jha told the Morgan Stanley technology conference on Monday that the Lapdock webtop accessory will be available on the Verizon Droid Bionic as well as other high end Motorola Android devices. The Lapdock accessory provides a netbookish experience with the Motorola Atrix docked on the back of it.   The Lapdock uses the Atrix’ internal 1ghz dual core processor providing a keyboard, display and extra battery.

The software used to run the Motorola Atrix Lapdock and the Firefox browser is currently housed on the phone.
