Twitter said via their support site:
“We’ve given the developers of twidroyd and UberSocial for Blackberry (formerly UberTwitter) access to the Twitter API again. Our initial review indicates that steps have been taken to remedy the violations for these applications.
When the developer updates twidroyd and Ubersocial, you’ll be able to download their updates to access Tweets again on these applications.”
Although they didn’t specify what the TOS violations were Uber Media reacted swiftly and CEO Bill Gross announced they were fixing the violations Friday evening.
Twidroyd was restored on Sunday night. If you’re a Twidroyd user you will need to go back to the Android market and take the newest update which has the changed required by Twitter for Ubermedia to have access to their API’s.
