Facebook For Android Updated Includes Groupon Clone
The Facbeook for Android app has been updated to version 1.5.1 this newest version brings some minor enhancements and bug fixes. It also brings the new Facebook deals to your Android device.
Facebook deals is Facebooks version of Groupon which is a localized deal finding feature. Facebook deals helps the user find deals based on 4 primary categories which are: individual, loyalty, friend and charity. When Facebook deals debuted in November they had 22 partners. Facebook places plans to add 22,000 local businesses to Facebook deals.
Some users of the new version are still reporting problems with notifications.
