Android Tablet Prices Cut; T-Mobile Drops Galaxy Tab by $50; AT&T Cuts Dell Streak to $100

T-Mobile reduced the price of the Samsung Galaxy Tab new on a 2 year contract from $400 to $350 thus making it the lowest priced Galaxy Tab available in the United States.  The Samsung Galaxy Tab has been on sale for about a month now. We recently published story about T-Mobile being called the best place to buy a Samsung Galaxy Tab by analysts and the other talking about how the Galaxy Tab operates the fastest on T-Mobile HSPA+ towers although it’s not an HSPA+ device.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab was released last month to all 4 carriers. Sprint sells it for $400 with a 2 year agreement. Verizon sells it for $600 without a contract and AT&T sells it for $650 without a contract, thus making T-Mobile the best priced Galaxy Tab out there.

AT&T, which just began selling the Dell Streak via Best Buy stores, has lowered the price of the 5″ tablet to $100 with a 2 year agreement.

UPDATE: 3:56PM Verizon has reportedly dropped the price of the Galaxy Tab to $500
