Sony Joins Kindle and Others; Brings Reader App to Android and Iphone

Possibly based on the success of other commercially available reader apps on Android, Sony has announced, via their e-reader website, that their e-reader is coming to Android in December.

Sony’s ebookstore site promises that with the Android app you can:

Get best sellers and new releases from the reader store
Access all your books purchases on your pc or your Sony reader on your Android device
Make bookmarks, notes and highlight on the App

It doesn’t say whether you will be able to sync your page position on the Android app. Meaning if you start a book on your reader or pc will it be in the same spot on your Android app, hopefully it will.

There is no date for the launch but the website says “Available In December”
