Samsung Nexus S Rumor Breaks Apart: Flagship 2011 “Samsung Elite” Phone Revealed?

Engadget has their hands on a slide from Samsung Mobile, Samsung Telecommunications America (STA), displaying a great looking phone. Despite one of the pictures being an ultra-slim VOIP phone, Engadget’s ninja masters (the ninja’s bosses) have confirmed that the slide is authentic, as is the picture of the VOIP phone, speculating that the producer of the slide was in a hurry to get it out.

With the “Nexus S” rumor falling apart yesterday (see this piece at Androidandme) and a name we keep hearing from our ninjas “Samsung Elite”, we’re not sure what this phone will be called but here are the skinny’s:

-4.5″ sAMOLED-2
– 14.4mbps HSDPA
– 5.76mbps HSUPA
-8mp camera with Flash
-Android Gingerbread
– Full HD 1080p-view and record
-Universal E-Book Reader
– Clouding Services/Full Google Apps

Engadget is saying a February release, which is what we heard for the Samsung Elite on Tuesday. It wouldn’t be a stretch to think this phone will be released at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona the second week of February.
