EXCLUSIVE: LG OPTIMUS headed to Verizon as “Vortex”
Right off the heels of the CEO ousting at LG for lack of numbers in their mobile division and recent news that the LG Optimus and LG Chic were headed stateside we’ve got our hot little hands on this pic of the LG Optimus, dubbed the Vortex, on Verizon. The specs match up with the LG Optimus specs which include:
600 Mhz
Android 2.2 Froyo
3.2 Inch Capactive Display
GPS
Blue Tooth
FM Radio
And More.
You may remember LG was rumored to have 10-20 Android Devices in the works, and this is just the tip of the iceberg in the United States. Last week our friends at Tmonews.com leaked a T-Mobile internal inventory sheet with accesories for the T-Mobile branded Optimus appearing on it for a launch date of November 1.
We are speculating that this LG Vortex will be available from your local Verizon store before Thanksgiving.
I thought LG was gonna have dual-core phones out in Q4? Fail
