The days of the next Sony Ericsson phone are upon us. Now they they have chosen to go with Android, it will most likely be a better device than their last few efforts. The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 (that name is really a mouthful) is an AT&T device, with an 8.1 megapixel camera, a 1 ghz processor, and the other standard features. One however is not present, and that is an Android version that is anything with 2.x. Sadly this device still runs on the old and outdated Android 1.6 version. Sony has made claims to update in September of this year, but I won’t believe it until I see it. The device comes packed with the usual accesories, including a charger, and a nice pair of Ericsson headphones. It runs pretty smoothly and the hardware is sleek and sexy. This is a good phone with great hardware, but with the 2.1 update promised for September it can be leaps and bounds better. It just seems like Sony got the cart before the horse on the OS for the x10. For the full unboxing check out the video below.
