The largest independent convergence of Android Community members is taking place on Sunday October 3, 2010 in Austin Texas.
are teaming up (as in working together instead of infighting like other platforms) to produce and host the largest independent convergence of the Android Community to celebrate the 2nd anniversary of the release of the HTC G1 on Tmobile, which sparked the start of Android.
Although originally announced in 2007 the first handset that saw the Android platform was the G-1 which debuted in October 2008. The Big Android Barbecue
will commemorate that anniversary in 2010 and many years to come.
